The Bristol Myers Squibb (40 acre, €250 million) and The Takeda Ireland (20 acre, €90 million) projects involved the construction of new pharmaceutical facilities. BAM (Ascon / Rohcon) employed McDonald Surveys as Project Surveyors to establish and maintain the site control, set out roads, underground services, drainage, concrete foundations, holding down bolts, slabs, plinths, upstands, paving, sumps and chambers. Control was also established on each building floor to locate openings, services and equipment. Detailed as-built surveys were carried out to ensure compliance and volumetric surveys performed and managed for the calculation of quantities.
